**The Oculus subreddit, a place for Oculus fans to discuss VR.** Good morning, I am a photographer who just created some 8k 360 degree Virtual Reality Meditation videos. These videos are meant to be watched on any virtual reality headset but can also be watched on other devices like smartphones, tablets, and tvs. There are some great meditation apps on both Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro but they are subscription based and range from $9.99 to $14.99 a month. Given times are tough, I want to provide a free alternative for those who want to try out virtual reality meditation but are on a tight budget. I uploaded the videos for free so anyone can try them out. If these videos are well received I will continue to create them and post them for free. I would love to get some feedback from this community so I can get better at this. These are my first two videos so I am looking for honest feedback so I can improve. Make sure to increase resolution to 4320p for better results by clicking on settings on the top right corner (gear icon) and then clicking on quality. What’s the best 360/VR camera right now to start using as a normal camera substitute?
A place to discuss any and all things Virtual Reality. Thesis being that I want to start saving my memories in a VR compatible format to relive in 5-10 years when VR tech becomes life like. Also to gift to non-technical family members so when they get old and can’t move anymore, they can relive young memories. Maybe a point and shoot ease of use equivalent? *want it to be able to recreate memories as scenes I can walk around in Thanks
