The official Subreddit for the Isaac Arthur YouTube channel. This Sub focuses on discussing his videos and exploring concepts in science with an emphasis on futurism, space exploration, along with a healthy dose of science fiction. Math is not bound to the 3D space that is the reality of this universe, and therefore computer simulations are not bound either. Due to neuroplasticity the brain is able to adopt new senses. This has been shown with the tongue camera that allows blind people to see using a camera that emitted electric impulses to the tongue. At first these impulses didn’t make much sense for the blind person, however gradually they learned that stronger impulses was the result of brighter environments, and from there they learned shapes and colors. So what about a 4d camera that would be connected to a similar sensitive organ, that would allow people to get a clips of what a 4d reality would look like? So basically my question is: Would it be possible to make 4D Virtual reality?
