[TOMT][Movie][80s- early 90s] Horror movie where some kind of virtual reality suit takes control of a person during a storm and starts killing people.

For finding the un-googleable things that are on the tip of your tongue… That word… The name of that song… That movie… It is an old movie, probably 80s or early 90s.There is some kind of virtual reality suit to play a game or similar. There is a group of people playing or testing the suit and then there is a storm. A lightning causes some kind of malfunction in the computers, then the suit takes control of the person who was using it and starts killing everyone in the building (I think I can remember an axe to kill them?). I´m not sure about this part, but I barely remember that the “entity” taking control of the person through the suit is like the villain or one of the monsters in the game they were playing/testing with the suit.
