r/Nintendo is a community to discuss Nintendo-related gaming and news I think Nintendo should make a VR headset. Sperate from the Switch, like how they had their home consoles and handles separate in the past. Now, the technology isn’t quite there at the moment, but I can see them releasing something late 2020’s or early 2030’s. But I do believe this will be the future of Nintendo. VR in general seems to be taking off and I think the younger generations are really going to gravitate towards this new hardware/technology. The Switch will still continue to live on with the Switch 2 (and Switch 3?) Which will just be a more powerful upgrade. Which I and many others want. I think the Switch and a VR headset can live side by side like the home consoles and handhelds did in the past. If Nintendo gets serious about VR (which would get me super excited) I can see them releasing it around the Switch 3. So while we might have to wait a long time, it’ll be worth it. Nintendo combined their home console and handheld with the Nintendo Switch, and now, it’s time for something new.
