The place to tell us how you and your bike are stuck in mid-air or that you saw a bear fall out of a tree. It’s r/Zwift! This subreddit is unofficial and moderated by reddit community members and Zwift community managers. Say Hi if you see us, we don’t bite. (Scotty may bite.) Hi all (and more specifically for anything to actually be done, the Zwift devs), this is an ‘open letter’. The current wave of modern VR headsets have been viable on mass since about April 2016 (when HTC joined the PC VR arms race). We have since gotten standalone headsets such as the Quest 2 with mobile chipsets capable of running the Android version of Zwift. Nearly 7 years on and with a product like Zwift that is designed to simulate riding a real bike, the lack of VR support if someone wishes to use it is just unfathomable. Can anyone within the Zwift dev team or PR team comment on the reasons why we haven’t seen a VR version in any form presented to the public to use? If safety is an issue, you can just present the VR user with a load of agreement tick boxes about the dangers etc to cover that off. People are willing to ty it, people are willing to use it, me being just one. Kind Regards, An avid pain cave VR enthusiast.
